Dragonfly Raku Urn

Delicate dragonflies drift across the soft blue, gold and copper glaze of the Dragonfly Raku Urn, a symbol of change, lightness and a life lived fully.

Because raku glazes react to fire and smoke in their own way, every urn comes out of the kiln with a one-of-a-kind finish.

You can personalize it with engraving (up to 120 characters), such as a name and dates or a few loving words.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Dragonfly Raku Urn big enough for an adult?

For most adults, yes. Using the one-cubic-inch-per-pound rule funeral homes follow, its 200 cubic inch capacity suits someone up to roughly 200 lbs.

Why does each raku urn look different?

In raku firing, the hot pottery is pulled from the kiln and exposed to smoke and flame. That process is never exactly the same twice, so colors and patterns vary from urn to urn.

How should I clean the Dragonfly Raku Urn?

A soft microfiber cloth is all it needs. Skip household cleaners and keep it on a sturdy surface where it will not be bumped.

When will my order ship?

Place your order before 1:00 PM CST on a weekday and it ships the same business day. Engraved urns ship the same day once the proof is approved by 1:00 PM CST, and anything completed later ships the next business day. We are open Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM CST.
